A Message For Women

Someone shared this with me not too long ago and it really struck me, I think all women need to hear this:

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,

the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that

is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the

caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows,

and the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.

I think that we not just as women, but as a society, forget what defines beauty. It has nothing to do with how clear your skin is, how long your eyelashes are, how "perfect" your body is, or how shiny & smooth your hair is. Your character makes you beautiful, the way you smile when the sun hits your face or the way you cry when you almost run over that poor squirrel that was just trying to cross the street, makes you beautiful. Everything that makes up the heart & soul of the one in a million person that is you. That is true beauty and it can't ever be compared. This is your reminder to love yourself, to celebrate yourself for everything that you are. Being a woman is beautiful.
